Membership drive 2015 the Chilbolton players needs new, enthusiastic & committed members to join us and bring enjoyment to Chilbolton.

The village hall is fully equipped with a glorious stage, sound & lights.

We have a small dedicated group of thespians but we need more.

Please consider.

What's Coming Next

Pride, Prejudice and Other Useful Qualities

Friday 29th and Saturday 30th November 2013

£12 per person, to include Supper, Dancing and a reading of the play

Celebrating 200 years since the publication of Pride and Prejudice the Players are staging a reading of Geoff Bamber's comedic take on this classic work.

There are five eligible Bennet sisters and not a prospective husband in sight. And when likely candidates do turn up, the Bennet girls’ lack of enthusiasm, along with circumstance and interfering relatives conspire to disrupt love’s smooth progress. Mind you, when one of the candidates is Mr Fitzwilliam Darcy, the chance of anything running smoothly is something of a leap of faith.


Dickens at the Church

On the 31st November and 1st December 2012 The Players put on a series of readings and vignettes on the life and works of Charles Dickens to celebrate the bi-centenary of his birth.

Very enjoyable to put on, we also had some amazing feedback from our audiences.

All proceeds went towards the new facilities at St. Mary the Less church - £770 in all. Thank to you Mandy and Maggie for writing, selecting and directing, and to everyone who came and supported the event.
